Cd Show Review
Last night, the Elks lodge was host to one of the best damn shows I have seen in a long, long time. There were around 300 people in attendance for 3 local bands, can't remember the names of the first 2, but headlining was Livevil. It was drummer Nick Page's final show with the band. And what a show. The band was really tight, hitting every note on time and hitting them HARD. Hutch murdered the mic and, I'm sure, several people in the front row. Tyler Usko made sweet, dirty love to his guitar, mean muggin his face off. Bassist Ben rocked, and Page was flawless.

Unreal energy in the crowd, crazy pit (got elbowed in the head a good couple times which was good) and an amazing light show operated by Brian Arnold using of a series of power strips he would turn on and off by hand. Really quite impressive.

I got it all on tape. REALLY good footage. Even got some shots of some boobies. So keep your eyes out for the finished product on this one. You will want to see this.

Thanks to everyone that showed up, all the bands, and the bouncers that had my back in the pit, saving my camera. I had a blast.

Walla Fucking Walla
For those of you who didn't go, last night was un-ficking-believable!! If you didn't make it out, you missed THE BIGGEST show Walla Walla has ever seen! Thank you to the several hundred who came out and kicked our asses! You all fucking Rock! It was a long hard road to get there, but it was more than worth it. If you didn't get a chance to last night, pick up a cd and support livevil as we do it up massive this summer! We will be playing anywhere and everywhere! Also, last night was more than just our cd release show. It was also Nick Page's final show with livevil. He is going to raise his family and we thank him very much for one final hoorah. With that said, we are announcing our new drummer (it was already announced in the paper), Matt McCaw. Also, I would like to thank the two other bands that came out and rocked with us: Half Cocked Grin and OTESM. Both of these bands kicked ass and took names. I am sure that we will play with them again soon so keep an eye out. Also big fuckin thanks to Jeff the sound guy for bringing 16,000 Watts of POWER to take the show over the top! And one more thanks to the Elks for letting us tear the roof off. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did! Remember to grab a cd either from the band, Hot Poop!, Cd Exchange, or Hastings; And everyone go see Justin down at Mutiny Tattoo and get some ink! (chicks dig it...trust me.)
